Bismillah ir Rahman ir Rahim
I am currently based in Baltimore, Maryland, but am constantly traveling throughout the East Coast of the United States.
I teach history and geography at a small private school in the city. I love traveling, backpacking, rock-climbing, and spending time working as a shepherd at the Osmanli Dergah, in upstate New York. This is also where I have met my spiritual guide in life, Shaykh Abdul Kerim al-Kibrisi, who happens to be the most handsome, photogenic individual that I have had the pleasure of meeting.
In terms of photography, I view the camera as a tool, and not just a brand that you wear on your sleeve. For this reason, I shoot with both Nikon and Canon systems depending on the particulars of the assignment and which tools I deem most appropriate for the job.
Through both my portfolio and photostream you may see that I specialize in B&W photography, portrait work, and capturing special events, but am more than versatile enough to shoot sports, landscapes, and everything in between.
